What is the Yoto Club?

The Yoto Club is a subscription service designed for families who own a Yoto Player or Yoto Mini, and is one of the best ways to build a Yoto card collection while also receiving some other benefits.

Yoto cards contain audio content like stories, music, and educational materials for kids. As a member, you receive access to Yoto exclusive content and monthly credits to redeem for cards of your choice from a curated selection. Different tiers in the club also offer perks like a 10% discount on all purchases and free shipping, making it a cost-effective way to grow your card library and keep your little ones entertained.

You can access the Yoto exclusive selection through the “Club Collection” tab in the Yoto app.

Over the years, the Yoto Club has evolved significantly. Initially, the program was more inexpensive and it offered 2 cards each month from a very limited and dated selection, but now members have more control, choosing from an expansive catalog.

What are the benefits of the Yoto Club?

There are three different tiers in the Yoto Club.

Explorer

£3.99 / $4.99 USD / $6.99 CAD per month

  • Unlimited access to 200+ Yoto Originals (digital) via the Yoto App
  • Exclusive Yoto Originals titles
  • Member-only radio stations, sleep sounds, and timers
  • Exclusive VIP promotions

Collector

£7.99 / $9.99 USD / $12.99 CAD per month

Everything in the Explorer AND:

  • One monthly credit to spend on 850+ cards
  • Free Shipping (2 cards minimum)
  • 10% off everything

Collector+

£12.99 /$16.99 USD / $21.99 CAD per month

Everything in the Explorer AND:

  • Two monthly credits to spend on 850+ cards
  • Free Shipping (2 cards minimum)
  • 10% off everything

It’s important to note that your credits expire after 12 months or at the end of your membership if you’ve canceled it.

Here is a very small example of content available in the Yoto Club Collection section.

The original Yoto digital content available at all tiers contains content that is geared toward younger children. You can link that content to Make your own cards (MYO) and have physical cards to put in and out of the Yoto itself.

Looking at what the club offers, the Yoto club is definitely worth it if you are just starting out with Yoto.

It’s an excellent way to build your collection with the Yoto card credits as well as picking up more Yoto players and accessories using the 10% off discount. The discount usually stacks with other promotions too so you’re getting a GREAT deal!

What is the best Yoto Club tier?

If you are new to Yoto and are just starting to build your collection, the Collector+ tier is the best way to do so. You get 2 credits a month that can be used towards both individual or packs of cards and is the most cost-effective way to get some of them.

The Collector tier is my favourite way to get free shipping if there is another card in the store that may not be available with Yoto credits and I’m not able to reach the minimum free shipping threshold.

For Yoto enthusiasts that already have a huge card collection, the Explorer tier is also an affordable way to continue to have access to the extensive Yoto originals library.

Should I go monthly or annual?

If you are looking to build out your Yoto card collection, getting the annual membership is the best way to go.

With the annual membership, it makes each Yoto card credit 20% cheaper depending on which region you are in and what level you are purchasing.

You also receive ALL your credits immediately after paying for the annual membership so you could technically redeem all 24 credits (at the Collector+ level) right away.

The monthly membership is still also a great way to build out a collection but you would only receive those credits monthly after your membership renews.

You can also safely cancel your membership at any time and still retain the benefits of your membership until it ends.

Does the Yoto Club discount stack with sales like Black Friday?

Yes, the Yoto club discount stacks with other promotions Yoto has like Black Friday, Boxing day or bundles. Note that this is subject to change.

Do I need the Yoto Club to use my Yoto?

No, you do not need the Yoto club to play content from your Yoto.

You can purchase cards from the Yoto store, Amazon, and other retailers. You can also make-your-own Yoto cards using free content or create your own personal Yoto library.
