HOW TO MAKE CRICUT VALENTINES
If you’d rather watch a video on how to make it step by step, take a look at this video here (highly recommended!):
STEP 1: UPLOAD FILES
Upload the free SVG file into Cricut Design Space.
You will need to unzip the files before uploading them into Cricut Design Space. Make sure you are using the .SVG file.
STEP 2: DESIGN
Ungroup the layers once.
The valentines are already sized to fit the crayons but if you’d like to make adjustments for a tighter fit, you can resize everything now.
Take all the layers below the tab layers and Flatten them. This will change those layers to a Print then Cut.
If you don’t have a printer or prefer to have the images drawn instead, then take the text layers and image layers and change them from Cut to Draw under linetype.
Attach all of the layers.
STEP 3: CUT IT OUT
Follow the instructions on your machine to print then cut the image. Make sure you turn bleed OFF.
Follow the prompts to cut it out on your Cricut.
STEP 4: ASSEMBLE VALENTINES
Assembling the valentines is easy. Just fold the tabs up and slip the crayons in the holes. It should be a loose fit for regular crayons and a tight fight for jumbo crayons.
CONGRATULATIONS

Thanks so much for this tutorial! I’m a total newbie so I appreciate your clear instructions in your video! Do you know how much to shrink it down so that a standard size crayon fits without falling out? Or is it just trial and error? Also, is it possible to duplicate before printing so two cards fit on one piece of cardstock (after shrinking down)? Thanks again!
